- It's 1 lb of ground beef.
- You need 1 of egg.
- It's 1/3 cup of milk.
- It's 2 tbsp of finely chopped basil.
- Prepare 1 cup of graded parmesan cheese.
- Prepare 1 of seasoning salt.
- It's 1 of garlic powder.
- You need 6 of hogie rolls.
- It's 1/2 cup of onion.
- You need 1 medium of green bell pepper (sliced).
- You need 1/2 cup of mushrooms.
- Prepare 1 of pepper.
Homemade Meatball Sandwiches step by step
- mix ground beef, seasoning salt, basil, parmesan cheese and milk together trying not to over mix.
- roll ground beef mixture in med sized balls. do not handle the meat to much, this will make your meatballs tough.
- add a tiny bit of oil into pot.
- place meatballs in pot and let cook on all sides. this is just to brown them..
- once all meatballs are browned remove from pot..
- remove excess grease from meatballs out of the pot and add a little bit more oil..
- add veggies to the pot slightly browning them.
- place meatballs back into pot adding Ragu sauce..
- cook until veggies are tender and meatballs are cooked through.
- ***to plate***.
- place 3 meatballs in the roll, spooning over the sauce..
- top with parmesan cheese.
